Kickemuit Middle School started the “Thrive -Outdoor Learning Zone Project” in 2018. 
 Its goal is to bring equity, collaboration, and outdoor learning to students from Bristol and Warren.   In this Spring 2025 photo, Thrive project leader Lora Helton shows a check delivered by GFRI trustee Hope Avery.
